New co-working space for Karratha

The state government has allocated $2 million for a new co-working space in Karratha to promote small business and startups in the area.
Regional Development Minister, Terry Redman said the Karratha Enterprise Hub, funded by the state government’s Royalties for Regions program, would be a vibrant and innovative co-working and business support centre, with an aim of minimising barriers to entry for new startups.
“The Pilbara currently has less than half the number of businesses per capita compared to the WA average, with the local economy dominated by the resources and construction sector,” Mr Redman said.
